About Us
The Brickhouse RVA is the brainchild of co-owners Marylee Marmer and Andrew Melton. Both veterans in the wedding industry, they have been collaborating since 2017. In early 2022, while searching for a home base, 406 West Broad Street popped up on their radar. After touring the space, it became indisputable that the location was the perfect place to host private events. With a few months of renovation, tlc and a lot of love, The Brickhouse RVA was born!
In addition to The Brickhouse RVA, Marylee Marmer also owns and operates Marylee Marmer Events which has been in business since 2015. With over 17 years in the business, Marylee has planned over 1,000 events and weddings. Her weddings have been featured in wedding blogs, magazines, and all over social media. Andrew comes from a venue management background and is no stranger to hosting events.
Together, this dream team plans to turn this historic Richmond building into one of the premiere venues in Virginia.
